dinner plate dahlias...
Look at the size of this dahlia!!!I told Jerome not to look goofy for the photo because it was going on the blog, but I guess he wanted to look goofy anyway...
you should see my husband "work shorts" - yipes! His mother made them when he was probably in his teens. Multi-colored stripes. Or his "work pants" that have holes in places that you don't want to show off to everyone.

Holy cow...that is one big flower.
I've tried dahlias twice and failed both times.
Well at least your husband doesn't have on the same raggity old cut offs in every photo. LOL
